How it all started...
At Primary School, Zus Harten (Miss Harten for us) played a very large role in developing my musical talents. For the Final Party by the highest classes, she had devised and rehearsed an evening of folk dancing, singing and music with us. And I got a decent lead in all these parts, which made me sing in folk dance clothes and also play the jaw harp solo ... (my very first musical instrument).
